"I suppose that would be ideal...but who knows how long that will take to happen," Joseph mused, sipping at his drink again. Quen was right, they couldn't count on that at all. They were going to need to take care of themselves.

"I only hope that they aren't organized enough to really make a 'move,'" Joseph said, although that was a little more to himself. "What were those things? Does anyone know?"

He looked up when Quen asked him what he thought. "Not terribly sure," he admitted. "I don't have a fallout shelter, but I do have a pretty well stocked basement." OK, it was half stocked with liquor, but there were things like food down there as well. "I'm not armed to the teeth like some people, but I do own my own guns." He sighed, reaching up and rubbing his face. "What about you?"
