Chester commented, in an aside, to Janie, "Actually, perhaps you should gather the 'bridge club' and go discuss your home preparations together. I'm sure Katherine must be a mess of nerves right now and I really don't have time to make sure she gets home alright, but if all of you are together I suppose you'll manage."
