He really needed a full night of sleep. It had been days since Alex had slept though the night and it was starting to show. Paperwork was beginning to pile up at work, which did nothing to help that lack of sleep was making him irritable. Hoping the pharmacy would have something helpful, Alex opened the door to Chow's and entered.

There were two other customers in the shop, both admiring a red paper lantern. He had seen lanterns like that back in Chicago for Chinese New Year. Alex stared at it for a moment, lost in a memory, before he shook his head and made his way to the counter.

"Hello, Jim. Might you have a little something to help me sleep?"
